Ray Antonelli

  • Antonelli was a highly regarded pitcher at Hopewell Sr. High School, earning first-team all-state honors in 2000. He played a key role in leading his team to the Class AAA Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League Championship that year.
  • In 2000, Antonelli was recognized as the High School Baseball Player of the Year by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review and the Beaver County Times. He also received honorable mention honors on the USA Today All-USA High School Baseball Team.
  • He played college baseball at Southern Miss for two years (2003-2004), contributing to two NCAA Regional appearances. During his time at Southern Miss, Antonelli had notable achievements, including a 4-0 record, five saves, and a 2.14 ERA in 2003.
  • Before attending Southern Miss, Antonelli played at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, Florida, earning First-Team All-Panhandle Conference honors in 2002 with a 5-2 record and a 1.84 ERA.
  • Antonelli has coaching experience, serving as the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach at D1 Youngstown State for two years. He also spent three years as the pitching coach at LaRoche College.
  • Most recently, Antonelli was the Head Coach at Central Valley High School for four seasons. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in coaching and sports administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, an associate in arts degree from Gulf Coast CC, and a master’s in business/technology education from Robert Morris.
